Vegas baby!

Well! it was quite the adventure!

We left early in the morning and began our adventure! Three kids in the car. Cole driving and heading for Cedar City.

There was wasn't much to do so i slept most of the way. Once we got to Vegas we went straight to her aunts house where we were put on babysitting duty watching 7 little ones. They were all so cute! There was one little boy named cash who did not like girls. Not one bit. His dad, before they left, warned us and had to demonstrate because it was just too funny. He told Cash to give us "bumps" and he would just say "no... no... no..." and swat our hand away. Then Cole walked past and said, "give me bumps!" and sure enough, he got bumps... Then, later anytime I would start walking towards Cash he would start again saying no, shaking is head and walking backwards away from me. It kind of hurt my soul! He was just so cute! and he straight out hated me because I was a girl...

Pshhh... Sexist baby.

But its alright, I got to hold a little girl named Remi, who apparently had a bratty streak(?), while she slept, and there are few things greater then holding a beautiful little girl while she sleeps.  And then we ate Ashleys Aunt's yummy food! Her aunt is quite the cook! It was so good! And one of the best parts was the frozen fruit salad. Wow. It was amazing.

We then headed to the hotel and settled our stuff then we headed to the mall!

The only problem with this one is that Ash and I made a deal that we weren't going to spend any money... so shopping wasn't very much fun... and we were so tired for the early morning and long day we had had so we ended up siting on the benches inside the Caesars Palace mall...

Then we made wishes in the fountain!

Then we went back and showered for the wedding which was early in the morning...

And can I just say that the Las Vegas Temple is one of the most beautiful temples I have ever seen. If you haven't seen it in all its glory, go look up pictures of it. It's beautiful.

Backtracking! So as we were driving up I posted the first picture on insta! (hah) and said I was headed to Vegas. Well I get a text from Chase Frei, a kid from Nicks mission saying he is also going to Vegas for his friends wedding! So we met up after the wedding and had some fun on the strip, although it was so hot outside walking, so we were grateful for a few moments to stop inside and take a picture with some plastic statues.

hah, self explanatory...

Then that night we were pretty tired so we went for a dip in the pool and had a nice heart to heart, went back to the room and started watching Hunger Games! But ash was wasted and fell asleep.... hahah poor girl... 

The next day we woke up nice and early, checked out of the hotel and headed to church! After church we went swimming! I needed a tan... badly... hah we had swimming competitions, I won out of the girls... OOoo OOO! Then we went back to her aunts and had some more very yummy food(more of that frozen fruit salad) before heading back to cedar city! 

Then we did some mail checking, twitter checking, facebook, and pinterest, and headed to bed after finishing our superman movie from the car. 

Then Ash had to be up all night chatting it up with boyfriend... Haha I was so tired I don't even remember half of what was going on, but it wasn't sleep. haha then we woke up early, and Cole and I got on our way!

There was a moment right after we made it to the top of the hill and started heading down hill when his foot accidentally pulled on his key chain and turned the car off... haha we were just coasting down the hill hahah! and we kept trying to get the engine back on and finally it did! hahahaha it was funny. He was a little scared but I honestly just thought it was funny. So for the rest of the ride we were chatting and telling scary car crash stories haha.

So that's my fun vegas weekend! Much needed vacation :)
