from the heart

so i wrote this quite a while ago, right after thanksgiving, and I guess I
just for busy and forgot to publish.

I am so very grateful for my family.
I am not grateful for my family because they fit the rolls I'd think to give them,
not because we get along perfectly,
and not just because we are blood.

Side note: And I think another way to say
you are grateful for something is just a
way to express you love them. We
learn to love/be grateful for our trials
because they help us grow, we
love/are grateful for food shelter and
care given to us by God, we love/are
grateful for our Savior and his Atonement,
we love/are grateful for friends and
family. The one can't exist without the other.

So here is a chunk of my gratitude list.

I am grateful for my dad because...
he still treats me like his baby girl, but with updated advice.
he'll snuggle me
we start every conversation as if we haven't seen/talked to each other in months.
he is reliable

I am grateful for my mom because...
she would do anything for me. I ask, she jumps.
we can get pretty silly talking about {or like} our students.. haha
she is a very hard worker

as a unit:
they are happy for me in whatever I want to do/be
they love to hear from me {or at least make me think they are;)}

I am grateful for Jenny because...
she just gets me
she gives relevant advice.
she worked hard to get her life in order
{even though she might protest it isn't there just yet, I'd say it is}

I am grateful for Missy because...
she'll take me as I am, and when I am, and when I'm not.
she is open to new opportunities and ideas.
she just loves lovin' ya.
she's very giving

I am grateful for Nick because...
he knows what he wants and he's going to work hard to get it.
he wants what's best for me

I am grateful for Ryan, Taylor and Olivia because...
they love my siblings more perfectly than I could have thought possible
and are the perfect counterparts to them.
